Mk7 Transit 2.2 TDCi Sluggish After Engine Swap. Newbie here so hope this is in the correct place. Ended up buying another engine from an 85ps model as I was told they're the same. Fitted everything from my original engine, apart from the fuel injectors as they had the same part numbers anyway, plus wasn't sure if my old ones were any good.
Hello My ex BT OpenReach Transit keeps repeating these fault codes. It's a T350 MWB 2007 Mk7 with the 2.4L PHFA Duratorq Engine and 102k miles on it. P1103 - Powertrain (Pending Fault) P1402 - Powertrain (Pending Fault) P0404 - Powertrain Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit (Pending Fault)
I just bought a 2008 Transit for my job and its idling a bit badly. Ive had it 3 weeks now and the revs drop from 800 to 700rpm when im stopped at he lights. I had a look on here last week to try and diagnose it and thought it might be the EGR Valve but that seems to be giving people problems in 3-6th gear.
UK/Ireland Location: Staffordshire. Posted April 29, 2009. p 1412 points towards a sticking egr valve and with 100.000 miles it will be very cloged up. you could try removing and cleaning the valve to see if there is any improvement. also check for any split air pipes from the egr valve.
