Watersports are mainly in the north of the lake with centres at Torbole and Malcesine, but as you will have a car getting there wouldn't be a problem. While you could manage a day trip, if you go that route, it’s best to have a car or to choose a route with easy transport (like Verona to Peschiera del Garda by train – just a 13 minute trip!).
