C4 Picasso 1.6 HDi 2013 model mk 2 it is auto or semi autoit has a lever on the steering wheel and two paddles + and - on the steering wheel. The lever positions are R, N, A, M. in M you can use the paddles. I moved the car reversed into a space. Then turned it off. When I turned it back on the car started because the lever was in N position.
Am I right in thinking that the semi auto has two gearboxes? Having driven back from the garage in M 17 miles and driven to Sheffield and back in A, round trip of about 40 miles with no issue but then yesterday a slight jerk between gears in Auto, would it be jus an auto gearbox issue?

Has your dealer had a proper inspection of the car. I think someone is getting confused between ETG6 Gearbox which is a semi automatic which went out of use by Citroen in late 2014 and early 2015 and is Italian, and the EAT6 Gearbox which is a full automatic and is of Japanese origin (Aisin Warner)
Looking on this site the U1113 code means there is a problem with the communcation between the automatic gearbox and the ABS( ESP). Does anyone have any ideas where to start looking? The automatic handbrake is locked on and my guess is the place to start is the electrical connections/wiring and maybe the ABS.

This is a common problem on older 4HP14/18 and is caused by 'varnish' and debris on the governor. USually as the fluid warms up they free off. An automated-manual gearbox does not have a governor because all of the control data (road speed, rpm etc) is electronically sensed and the shifting of the transmission is carried out by external actuators.
Answered by Graham Smith · 9 June 2016. You'll have trouble selling it without getting the transmission fixed, so I would recommend that you take it to a transmission specialist and at least get it assessed and quoted so you know what you're up for. I doubt that the trade would be interested in it, unless you could perhaps convince a Citroen
